Baccalaureate Ceremony: Cook College Graduating Seniors Only
Cook Campus Center Multipurpose Room
The evening before graduation a baccalaureate ceremony is held on campus which concludes with the traditional procession around the campus pond known as Passion Puddle. The tradition of students walking around the puddle as they graduate begins in the student’s freshman year. During their first night on campus, students participate in various activities that end with a walk around the puddle. Students are told on that night that the walk represents the beginning of their next step in life and as they walk back around the puddle several years later they can remember Cook and how they have grown while they were here.
